Services
We try our best to make the services straightforward and relevant.
We sing the best of the old and the best of the new, and everything you need for the service is provided on a service sheet – so there's no embarrassment of getting lost between different books!
We meet on Sunday morning from 10.30am, with a regular pattern most months as follows:
1st Sunday Morning Service
2nd Sunday Morning Service
3rd Sunday Lords Supper
4th Sunday Family Service
5th Sunday Morning Service
The Church Family Service has elements for all ages and the children stay in the church for the whole service (which is often shorter than an hour). For the other services, the children meet with the adults for the first 10-15 minutes before going to their own teaching groups. The services are around an hour long, though the Lord's Supper may be slightly longer.
There is a crèche every week for babies and infants who want to stay near to their parents link to youth page.
Anyone who normally receives communion at their own church is welcome to share the Lord's Supper at St Peter's, though some people just prefer to stay in their seats during this part of the service.
Refreshments are served after all services in the church hall which is within the church complex, and gives a good opportunity to meet the church family and find out more about St Peter's.
